Servants by Design anyone?

so I did this personality assessment last year as part of my church men's group.   The profile report I received is called "Servants by Design" by Dr. Robert S. Maris and Dr. Jerry C. Richardson.

I found it to be pretty good as it pegged me with regards to motivators and de-motivators.

My personality structure is at the foundation a Persister, followed by Harmonizer.  What all this means is that; 1) I am dedicated, observant and conscientious, guided always by basic, underlying principles, standards and beliefs.  And 2) I hunger for interactions where I feel special, unique, and valued by others.

Actually I can't imagine any human not being highly motivated by the above brief summary of a personality.  It has however caused me to reflect a lot on reasons why I grew extremely frustrated and tired with a great career in 1st, the Navy, then General Electric, then as a leader in my church.

And in my current career with a terrific global banking company I am less than fulfilled.   I am given some challenging work to do at times but  for various reasons I fail to maintain flight with anything meaningful.   It will give me a momentary charge but my batteries won't hold that charge any better than the Craftsmen electric drill battery I received as a Christmas present 15 years ago.

So the thought is to create a blog and pursue an exploration in search of fulfillment with others that may be on the same search.

What's your story?
